𝟰 Fruits and Veggies to Keep You Cool This Summer ☀️EMOJI Edition

Summer is coming in HOT this year. Spring is a bygone memory. So what fruits and veggies should you snack on to stay cool, refreshed, and hydrated during the scorching months? What about quick recipes you can pull off? We’ve got you covered in this week’s blog. VIA Emoji! 




Cucumbers are the king of summer veggies! They’re crunchy and cool and taste great! Take some chopped cucumber, tomato, and shredded carrot plus a tasty organic dressing (maybe Organicville Olive Oil & Balsamic? 😉) and you’ve got an awesome summer salad! Cucumbers are in season all summer long, so stock up!

Watermelon 🍉 

Watermelon is the all-American summer fruit. Just don’t eat the seeds or one will grow in your belly! Want a twist on a summer dessert? Blend watermelon, lime juice, and kiwi. Add the mixture to an ice cube tray, cover with plastic wrap and insert popsicle sticks. Freeze overnight for home made watermelon popsicles!


Tomato 🍅 

Is it a fruit? Is it a vegetable? To-MAY-to Tom-AH-to. Dice tomato, onion, cilantro, add some lime juice and you’ve got a fresh, tasty pico de gallo for your summer taco platter!


Pears peak season pops-up in late summer. Pears dipped in cream cheese are excellent sweet snack. Thinly slice a pear and roast in the oven at a low temperature (about 200 degrees for an hour) take them out and you’ve got sweet pear chips! 


BONUS Avocado 🥑 

The prodigal fruit for all millennials. We can’t leave this superfood off our summer fruit and veggie list! Take an avocado, rice, and tuna and wrap it in rice paper or seaweed wraps for an easy California roll lunch!
