Summer is in full effect and one of our go-to summer treats is ice cream! Sometimes you need to splurge a little and grab some ice cream especially at that summer bbq or street festival, but would you ever grab a sushi flavored ice cream? Maybe horse radish? We’re checking out a couple of none traditional ice cream flavors.

1. Garlic
Garlic is delicious in a huge number of savory dishes you might have for dinner, but on a hot summer night? The sweet and savory mix of garlic and ice cream can be a tasty treat if you’re in the right mood. Just make sure to chew some gum afterwards.

2. Corn on the Cob
Corn on the cob might be a staple at your summer BBQ, but as a flavor of ice cream? Think corn bread in ice cream form. Its a little sweet, a little buttery. Extra delicious.

3. Lobster
Another butter-based ice cream with real buttery lobster bits added in for good measure. Yum?

4. Avocado
I love avocado on pretty much anything. It’s tasty and it’s relatively good for you if you’re on a diet. But what about in your ice cream? Sure why not. Check out this recipe to make your own at home!

5. Edamame
Another awesome sweet and savory mix! Edamame ice cream is sold internationally and served at restaurants world wide!
